Your Beauty Comfort Zone

Have you ever wanted to try something new but doubted the outcome? Or maybe you were just fearful of what other would think? I believe we have all been there. The neutral eyes and the boring lip colors, but sometimes it's just fun to mix it up!

It's totally normal that we like to be in our comfort zone; however, sometimes you want to feel refreshed and break out from your regular day-to-day makeup routine to give yourself a little boost of self-confidence.

Now it's time to break out of your beauty comfort zones, and explore all that the world of beauty has to offer. Trust me, there's so much more to makeup than your standard smoky eye. Give yourself more range for self-expression by pushing your beauty boundaries. Whether it's choosing a bold lip color or using a colored eye-liner, there is no limit to what you can do with the power of makeup.

Be daring to try something new, as you may bump into something great. Makeup is a fun form of artwork, and something you can change daily.

Personally, I understand how easy it is to get stuck in a makeup routine. There have been times I see someone wearing a wrong makeup and wonder how I can make them realize that the thick winged eye-line looks terrible on them! Or that foundation doesn't match their skin tone or those old fashioned loose hairs make them look 10 years older!

Whether you got trapped in your makeup routine or simply lacking motivation, it's easy to get caught up in a routine hair style and makeup.

Why not take a risk? You can simply wash it off if you are not happy with the end result! So, go ahead, and change your routine. A small change may do wonders for your own self-image!

Here are some easy ways to break out of your own beauty comfort zone:

Discover Your Dark Side

The weather is getting cooler, so let’s start embracing those deliciously deep plum and burgundy tones. Bold lips are the trend in the beauty industry nowadays. If you’re still using the same old glossy pink lipstick you've been using for years, now it’s the time to replace it. Go for some daring colors! But don’t just stop at lips and nails – there’s plenty of ways to get your routine fixed. Purple blush works brilliantly on cool-toned skin, especially in softer shades and for warmer tones, try a deeper, more burgundy hue. A frosty purple flush on the cheeks is the perfect way to look feminine this winter, guaranteed.

Go Bright All Over

If you look in any given woman’s makeup bag, you’re bound to find a blush, mascara and a lipstick, but how about the bright eye shadow? It’s enticing when models are constantly wearing it (and look great, too). So why is it so difficult to get the same look at home? The Bright eyeshadow is not for the faint of heart, but it is for those who want to step out of their comfort zone, and shine!

Different EYELINE

You can wear colored eyeliner which is popping up everywhere and looks so pretty and flattering, while making makeup super-simple; just a flick of the pencil and you are ready to go! However, this is also a trend that seems to scare women the most, as it easily pushes them out of their comfort zone.

Try a Different Technique

Refresh your look with some other techniques such as strobing for the day and keep contouring for night out. Strobing can save more time as it only requires minimum steps! Prime your face and apply foundation, following by brushing highlighter on higher points to define your face. Add blush on the apple of your cheeks to get that healthy glow.

And don’t forget, if you are a fan of highlighting and shimmery makeups then get that bronzer on your eyelids. It works with both strobing and contouring and is an excellent choice for those hot summer days!
